What is the PTA?

Whether you know it or not you are already a member of the PTA - all parents of children at Holy Trinity automatically hold membership of the PTA, as do the school's teaching staff.

The Parent Teacher Association’s main purpose is to raise money for equipment and facilities for the children of the School. All Holy Trinity’s children benefit from the many “extras” the PTA has funded.

The PTA also provides any refreshments that are needed at school events; at school sports competitions, Parents meetings, School discos and so on.

Fund-raising events are held for children, adults or for the whole family to enjoy and we hope you will continue to support them. Quiz Night, Autumn Ball, Music Evenings, Christmas Fairs and our annual Summer Fete are just some of the PTA fundraisers that were enjoyed in the past years.

The association is run by a committee. Members are elected at the AGM, held in October. All parents are welcome at this meeting. The committee meets throughout the year to discuss ideas for fundraising.
