Our Governing Body
Our Governing Body plays an important role in the leadership and development of our school. Governors are responsible for providing strategic direction and ensuring that the school meets its statutory responsibilities to pupils and staff.
Our Governing Body is made up of representatives from the school, our families, the local authority and the wider community. Following our reconstitution on 5 April 2014, the Governing Body comprises:
- Two Foundation Governors – elected by the Parish Church Council.
- Two Parent Governors – elected by the parents and carers of pupils at our school.
- One Staff Governor – elected by the staff of the school.
- One Local Authority Governor – nominated by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
- Up to three Co-opted Governors – appointed by the Governing Body.
- The Headteacher – who is a member of the Governing Body.
The maximum number of governors is ten.
