What is the PTA?
Whether you know it or not you are already a member of the PTA - all parents of children at Holy Trinity automatically hold membership of the PTA, as do the school's teaching staff.
The Parent Teacher Association’s main purpose is to raise money for equipment and facilities for the children of the School. All Holy Trinity’s children benefit from the many “extras” the PTA has funded.
The PTA also arranges fundraising events for both the children and the adults to enjoy and we hope that you'll come along to support these. There are termly activities after school for the children, from PJ Parties to Discos and treasure trails. There are also plenty of fun activities for parents & carers too, from quiz nights to wine tasting, musical nights to parties. The highlight of the calendar is the PTA Annual Black-tie Ball, held each Spring.
There are also events for the whole family including Carols in the Courtyard at Christmas and our huge HT Fest - summer festival, held on the school field each July.
The association is run by a committee of 6 elected members. These individuals are elected yearly at the AGM, held in November. All parents are welcome at this meeting and also at the other 5 meetings held throughout the year to discuss ideas for fundraising.
